Otomoパックのご紹介　Otomo Pack: A PDF companion for each episode

What is the Otomo Pack?

Otomo is a Japanese word that means
“a companion,” “something that stays by your side,” or
“something you use together with something else.”

The Otomo Pack is a set of PDFs created to help you enjoy each episode more—
before, during, or after listening.

It includes:

• A full transcript (with reading support)
• Vocabulary
• Grammar notes
• A short quiz

You don’t need to use everything at once.

You can listen to the episode and read along,
come back later and reread a part that caught your attention,
or try the quiz when you feel like it.

This is not meant to feel like “studying.”

Even if you don’t sit down to study,
you may find yourself practicing your listening and reading skills naturally.

I hope the Otomo Pack feels like a gentle companion—
something that stays with you as you enjoy Japanese,
everyday life in Japan, and the stories shared in the podcast.

私は最近、Megumi’s Daily Japanese Adventures Season 2 のスタートに向けて、準備をしています。

先週末は、父の誕生日のお祝いで、知多半島の温泉に行ってきました。
久しぶりに、ゆっくりした時間を過ごして、いいリフレッシュになりました。

こういう「旅の時間」って、やっぱりいいですね。

今日は、そんな「旅の時間」にもそっと寄り添う、
Season 2 から始める 「Otomoパック」 について、少しご紹介します。

Otomoパックについて

Otomo（おとも） は、日本語で「そばにあるもの」「一緒に使う相棒」のような意味の言葉です。

Otomoパック は、

エピソードの音声を、あとからもう一度、ゆっくり楽しむためのPDFのセット

です。

中には、

• Transcript（ルビ付き・段落番号入り）
• Vocabulary
• Grammar
• Quiz

が入っています。

音声を聞きながら読んだり、
あとから読み返したり、
気になるところだけ見たり、
余裕があるときにクイズをやってみたり。

「勉強しよう」と思わなくても、
気がついたら、読解や聴解の練習にもなっている。

そんな使い方をしてもらえたらいいな、と思っています。
